Jack 'Digger' Evans was a full-back who played for Australia in the 1930s.
He made 40 appearances for Australia from 1933-1941, with 11 of those being 'A' internationals, even serving as captain during his time representing Australia.
He played for clubs in Aberdare and Cessnock, as well as state teams in Sydney including Metters, Goodyear and Annandale-Leichhardt.
