Pamela Gilbert started her soccer career in 1968 as a junior registrar and recorded more than 31 years of service to the sport.
Pamela was junior registrar for her local club from 1968-1975, before becoming assistant secretary to the Brisbane Junior Soccer Association which administered football in the Greater Brisbane area.
In 1976 A new State body was formed, the Queensland Junior Soccer Council, with all parts of the States involved through seven zones.
Pamela was the inaugural Treasurer, and then became Secretary.
Pamela was made a Life Member of the QJSC in 1981, and she travelled extensively throughout the State at State Titles and National Junior Titles.
For a period of approximately six years, Pamela was a paid part-time administrator of the QJSC.
Pamela was inducted into the Football Australia Hall of Fame in 1999.
