Growing Football Community Grant Program
Following the success of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™, Football Australia has launched the Growing Football Fund to support the continued growth of women’s football across Australia.
Through the Growing Football Fund, supported by CommBank, community clubs and associations will have access to a grant of up to $5,000 to support initiatives and programs that look to develop and/or promote women's and girls’ football.

Grant Objectives
The primary objective of the Community Grant Program is to provide tangible support to clubs and associations, with a focus on initiatives that look to attract or retain women and girls in football.
The Community Grant Program will also aim to:
provide quality experiences for new and returning football participants that encourage ongoing participation in football.
support the education and development of community coaches that improve the skills and knowledge of coaches to provide quality football experiences.
support clubs and associations in developing inclusive and safe environments to support the retention of women and girls at their club.

The Guidelines provide information on all things related to the grant, including eligibility criteria, type of activities that will or will not be funded, assessment criteria and more. Any club or association wishing to apply for the Growing Football Fund must review these guidelines.

Application Process
Step 1: Check your eligibility
Check the information in the Grant Guidelines to see if your club or association is eligible.
Step 2: Gather information
Ensure you have all required information for your application, with answers to the questions in the application form and the supporting documentation (including your Club Changer action plan and project budget).
We recommended that you fill out your responses in the template in the first instance, and then copy across responses when filling out the online application form.
We have also developed a project budget template to support your application.
Step 3: Apply online
Round One Recipients
In March 2024 the inaugural round of 121 clubs or associations were announced a Growing Football Community Grant.
