One Football Strategy 2022-26

In November 2022, Football Australia launched the FA One Football Strategy 2022-2026 to showcase our proposed course of action for the coming years.

“Our FA One Football Strategy lays out a plan for our organisation to have an even stronger impact on the game, while being more efficient, and continue our vision to transition towards a modern, fit-for-purpose governance framework for football in Australia in line with global standards and best-practice sports governance in Australia.” said Chris Nikou.

The document is a game plan for Football Australia and our nine Member Federations to pursue the vision of becoming a leading football nation where everyone is inspired to live and love the game. The strategy revolves around four strategic pillars:

  1. Participants & Clubs
  2. Elite Teams & Pathways
  3. Fans
  4. Unifying Football

Each strategic pillar is accompanied by 3 areas where Football Australia is focusing on, the actions we are taking, and what success looks like for us.
